1) Important Notice
LG E-BIKES products, including e-bike conversion kits, high-performance components, batteries, chargers, and accessories, are high-voltage, mechanically complex, and intended primarily for private property or off-road use. All products are rigorously tested at the manufacturer for functionality, safety, and quality prior to dispatch.

Using products improperly, modifying them, or attempting installation without sufficient knowledge may result in serious bodily injury or death, property damage (personal, real, or third-party), fire, explosion, or chemical hazards, including from lithium-ion batteries, and legal consequences such as fines, ticketing, or impoundment. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted due to the risks involved with resale or re-use.

2) Eligibility for Returns
Returns are strictly limited to manufacturing defects confirmed by LG E-BIKES inspection. To initiate a return, contact support@lg-ebikes.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, clear photos or video of the defect, and a description of the defect or issue.

Returns are not accepted for damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper installation, overloading, crashes, collisions, or environmental exposure, nor for alterations, unauthorised repairs, cosmetic imperfections, wear-and-tear, scratches, or third-party component failures. Batteries or electrical components returned without prior written RMA instructions will also be rejected.

3) Returns Process
Contact support first with all required information and evidence of the defect. Do not ship items before receiving a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) from LG E-BIKES. Returns without an RMA may be refused or returned to sender.

Lithium-ion batteries are classified as dangerous goods. Follow RMA instructions carefully for packaging, labelling, and courier requirements. Non-compliant shipments will not be accepted and may pose legal risk. Ensure returned products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit, as LG E-BIKES is not responsible for return shipping damage.

Upon receipt, LG E-BIKES will inspect the product for defects, misuse, or safety violations. Products that fail inspection may be rejected, and shipping costs may remain the customer’s responsibility.

4) Refunds, Replacements, and Credits
After inspection, LG E-BIKES may offer a replacement (subject to stock availability), a refund to the original payment method (excluding shipping fees unless required by law), or store credit at LG E-BIKES discretion. Refunds are issued only after successful inspection and verification of the defect. Shipping fees for returns remain the customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.

5) Warranty Considerations
Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects within the period specified for each product. Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, accidents, incorrect installation, unauthorised modifications, environmental exposure, normal wear-and-tear components, or damage from bypassing limiters or firmware modifications. Professional installation is strongly recommended and required for warranty eligibility. Warranty applies only to defects arising under normal use, as products are tested prior to dispatch.

6) Safety & Liability
By using LG E-BIKES products, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of installation, operation, storage, transport, or modification. Risks include bodily injury (fractures, burns, electric shock, cardiac events, or death), property damage, fire, explosion, or chemical hazards, emotional distress, and legal consequences. LG E-BIKES is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, savings, use, or enjoyment. Use of products is voluntary and at your own risk.

7) Compliance with Laws
Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with local, state, and national regulations regarding e-bike conversions, including wattage limits, pedal-assist or throttle restrictions, speed limitations, age restrictions, licensing, registration, insurance requirements, and helmet and lighting laws. Non-compliance may result in police questioning, fines, vehicle impoundment, court proceedings, or other enforcement actions. LG E-BIKES does not provide legal advice, and customers agree to indemnify LG E-BIKES for penalties, legal costs, or damages arising from non-compliance.

8) Consumer Rights Under the ACL
Nothing in this policy limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, or refund for major failures and compensation for reasonably foreseeable losses. Minor failures allow repair or replacement only. LG E-BIKES will comply with all mandatory consumer protections.

9) Additional Safety & Quality Notes
All LG E-BIKES products are tested for mechanical durability, electrical safety, and functional performance prior to shipping. Customers should inspect products immediately upon delivery. Professional installation, correct torque, wiring, and assembly are mandatory for safety and warranty compliance. Batteries must be charged and stored safely on non-flammable surfaces, following RMA and user instructions.
