Important Safety & Legal Notice (Read First)
LG E-BIKES conversion kits and high-performance components are designed for off-road or private-property use only, unless your e-bike is fully compliant for public-road use in your jurisdiction. Using converted e-bikes on public roads, footpaths, or shared trails may result in police investigation or questioning, fines, penalties, vehicle or bicycle impoundment, or court proceedings. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with local, state, regional, and national laws, including motor wattage, throttle, and speed limits, pedal-assist settings, helmet and protective gear requirements, licensing, registration, insurance obligations, and age restrictions. Do not ride on public roads unless your e-bike is fully legal.

By using our Services, purchasing products, or accessing any LG E-BIKES materials, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services or products.

1) Eligibility, Accounts & Accuracy of Information
You must be of the age of majority where you reside or have parental consent. You agree to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information and to maintain account security. You are responsible for all actions under your account, including purchases, installation choices, and use of products.

2) Product Description & No Road-Use Representation
LG E-BIKES sells e-bike conversion kits, components, batteries, chargers, and accessories. Minor variations in colour, finish, or appearance may occur. We do not guarantee that any product is road-legal in your jurisdiction without additional compliance measures. You are responsible for verifying local laws before riding on public roads.

3) Compliance With Laws & Private-Property-Only Use
Default Private-Property Use: Unless your e-bike meets all applicable laws, use is restricted to private property or off-road areas.
Public-Road Responsibility: If you ride publicly, ensure compliance with motor wattage, speed, throttle limits, lighting, reflectors, protective equipment, licensing, registration, insurance, age, and other restrictions.
Legal Consequences of Non-Compliance: Riding illegally may result in fines, police investigation, court proceedings, or impoundment.
Indemnity for Non-Compliance: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LG E-BIKES from penalties, legal claims, or damages arising from unlawful use.

4) Orders, Acceptance & Availability
Your order is an offer to purchase. LG E-BIKES may accept, reject, or cancel orders at our discretion, including suspected fraud or inventory errors. Refunds will be issued if an order is cancelled after payment.

5) Prices, Currency, Taxes & Billing
Prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. Prices exclude taxes, duties, import fees, or shipping. You authorise LG E-BIKES to charge your selected payment method for the full order total.

6) Shipping, Risk of Loss & Delivery Delays
Shipping dates are estimates only. Risk of loss transfers to you when goods are handed to the carrier. LG E-BIKES is not liable for carrier delays, customs, extreme weather, or other events beyond our control. For damaged shipments, file a claim with the carrier and notify LG E-BIKES within 7 days.

7) Inspection, Shortages & Damage Claims
Inspect all shipments immediately. Report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to support@lg-ebikes.com within 7 days, including photos. Failure to report may limit our ability to assist.

8) Installation, Setup & Critical Safety Disclaimers
Professional installation is strongly recommended and required for warranty claims. Improper installation may cause electric shock, fire, property damage, bodily injury, or death. Follow all instructions, wiring diagrams, and torque specifications. Check brakes, tyres, steering, and electronics before every ride. Always wear approved helmets and protective gear. Ensure compatibility with your bike frame, fork, wheels, brakes, and drivetrain. Do not bypass fuses, firmware limiters, or safety systems.

9) Battery & Charger Safety
Use only approved LG E-BIKES batteries, chargers, and cables. Never leave batteries charging unattended. Charge on non-flammable surfaces away from combustibles. Store in cool, dry conditions; avoid extreme temperatures. Stop using damaged, swollen, punctured, or overheating batteries immediately. Transport and shipping of batteries must comply with hazardous goods regulations. LG E-BIKES is not liable for third-party or DIY battery packs.

10) Prohibited Uses
No racing, stunts, commercial hire, or overloading. Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, tamper, or bypass safety features. Do not ride where prohibited by law or venue regulations.

11) Product Damage & Warranty
Not Covered: Misuse, crashes, neglect, environmental exposure, water ingress, unauthorised modifications, repairs, firmware tampering, normal wear (brake pads, chains, tyres, cosmetic scratches), third-party component failures, consequential or incidental property damage.
Potentially Covered: Manufacturing defects under normal use within any express written warranty period.

12) Returns, RMAs & Refunds
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted once shipped. For defective items, contact support@lg-ebikes.com for troubleshooting and RMA approval. Batteries require written RMA instructions. Refunds are processed after inspection; shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law. Nothing limits non-excludable rights under Australian Consumer Law.

13) Intellectual Property
All content on the Services is owned by LG E-BIKES or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

14) Third-Party Tools & Links
Access to third-party tools or sites is “as is”. LG E-BIKES is not responsible for third-party content, services, or actions.

15) Safety Notices, Recalls & Updates
You must comply with any safety notices, recalls, or firmware updates. Keep contact information updated and stop using affected products immediately when instructed.

16) Limitation of Liability – Extensive Coverage
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LG E-BIKES and its partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers, licensors, Shopify, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any claim, loss, or damage arising from purchase, installation, use, misuse, modification, maintenance, storage, transport, or disposal of any LG E-BIKES product or service, or your use of our Services.

This includes bodily injury or death, property damage, emotional or psychological distress, fire, explosion, chemical hazards, financial loss, legal or regulatory consequences, indirect or incidental damages, installation or maintenance errors, environmental or external factors, and battery or electrical component risks. This limitation applies even if LG E-BIKES has been advised of possible damages. You acknowledge that use of LG E-BIKES products is voluntary and all associated risks are assumed entirely by you.

17) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LG E-BIKES and its affiliates from all claims, fines, penalties, losses, damages, or legal costs arising from your installation, use, or modification of products, non-compliance with laws, accidents, property damage, bodily injury, or breach of these Terms.

18) Disclaimers
Services and products are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. All implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, durability, and non-infringement, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

19) Consumer Rights
Nothing limits non-excludable rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to remedies for major failures, including repair, replacement, or refund.

20) Miscellaneous
Governing Law: New South Wales, Australia.
Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect others.
Entire Agreement: These Terms supersede prior agreements.
Changes: Terms may be updated; continued use constitutes acceptance.
